From Piazza Maggiore, walk north along Via dell'Indipendenza, then turn right onto Via Zamboni. The library will be on your left. Allow approximately 15 minutes for the walk. No costs are associated with this approach.

    Several bus lines stop near the University Library on Via Zamboni. From Bologna Centrale train station, take bus lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27, 30, 32, 33, 36, 37, 62, 68, 87, 90, 92, 99. Get off at the 'Teatro Comunale' or 'Via Zamboni - Piazza Verdi' stop. The library is a short walk from either stop. A single bus ticket costs €2.30 if purchased before boarding or €2.50 if purchased on the bus.
