    From Monte Rosa, take a bus to the nearest train station, which is in the town of Macugnaga. From there, board a train to Domodossola. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Domodossola, transfer to a train heading towards Verbania. This train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Verbania, follow local signs to Lake Maggiore, which is easily accessible on foot from the train station.
