    From Florence, take the SR222 Chiantigiana road south towards Bagno a Ripoli. Podere Ema is located directly on the SR222, approximately 11 kilometers (7 miles) south of Bagno a Ripoli. Note that the SR222 is a scenic but winding road, so allow extra time for a leisurely drive. Consider stopping at other charming villages along the Chiantigiana, such as Greve in Chianti.
