Note that the SR222 is a scenic but winding road, so allow extra time for a leisurely drive. Consider stopping at other charming villages along the Chiantigiana, such as Greve in Chianti.

From there, you can take a local taxi or bus that runs along Chiantigiana road to Podere Ema, which is located a few kilometers outside of Bagno a Ripoli.
