Start by taking the Metro Line 2 from any nearby metro station in Naples. If you are at Napoli Centrale (the main train station), take the train towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the Cavour station. Once there, exit the station and head towards Via Foria. Turn right onto Via Foria and continue walking straight. After about 600 meters, you will reach the intersection with Via Capodimonte. Turn left onto Via Capodimonte, and you will find the Catacombs of San Gennaro at number 13. It is about a 10-minute walk from the metro station.

Walking from the Historic Center
If you are in the Historic Center of Naples, make your way to Via Duomo. From there, walk towards Via Capodimonte. The distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers. Follow Via Duomo until you reach the intersection with Via Capodimonte. Turn left onto Via Capodimonte, and continue walking until you reach the Catacombs of San Gennaro at number 13. This walk will take around 20 minutes.

You can take the bus line 168 from Piazza Garibaldi towards Capodimonte. Get off at the stop called 'Capodimonte', which is closest to the Catacombs.
