Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the central train station, Stazione di Pompei. Exit the station and head northwest on Via Roma towards Via F. Cicerone. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Via Nolana. Turn left onto Via Nolana, and walk for about 600 meters until you reach the bus stop. From there, you can catch a bus to Naples. Make sure to take a bus that states 'Napoli' on its front. Once in Naples, get off at the stop closest to Via Miano, which is near the entrance to Parco di Capodimonte. From the bus stop, walk approximately 400 meters northeast on Via Miano to reach the park entrance.

    At the Pompei train station, take the EAV bus service towards Naples. This bus will take you directly to the city. Ensure you have the correct fare and ask the driver to notify you when you reach Via Miano. Once you arrive, walk approximately 10 minutes, heading northeast on Via Miano to reach the entrance of Parco di Capodimonte.

  • Train and Walking

    Take the Circumvesuviana train from Pompei to Napoli Garibaldi Station. Upon arrival, exit the station and follow signs to the Metro Line 1. Take the Metro towards Piscinola and get off at the Materdei station. From Materdei, exit the station and walk about 15 minutes north on Via Salvatore Tommasi, then turn right onto Via Miano. Continue on Via Miano for another 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Parco di Capodimonte.
