    From Piazza Grande, walk down Via di Gracciano nel Corso towards the Porta al Prato. Continue onto Via di San Donato. The Enoliteca Consorzio Vino Nobile is located at Via di San Donato, 21, inside the Montepulciano Fortress. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Note that Montepulciano is a hilltop town with steep inclines.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving by bus at the Montepulciano Bus Terminal (Autostazione) outside the city walls, take the urban mini bus service that loops around the town. Get off at the stop closest to Piazza Grande and follow the walking directions. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1-2.

  • Taxi

    From the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme train station, a taxi to Enoliteca Consorzio Vino Nobile in Montepulciano will cost approximately €60. Confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey. The journey is about 30 minutes.

  • Parking

    If driving, several parking lots are located outside the historic city center. Parking lots P1 (Piazza Don Minzoni) and P5 (Piazza Pietro Nenni) are closest to the base of Montepulciano. From parking lot P5, an elevator (ascensore) takes you up to the Giardini di Poggiofanti, near the entrance to Montepulciano. Parking fees vary, but expect to pay around €2 per hour or €5-10 for the day. Parking at Piazza Pietro Nenni is free, except on Wednesdays due to the weekly market.
