Walking
If you are starting from the Palermo Central Station, exit the station and head southeast on Via Roma. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele. Turn right onto Via Vittorio Emanuele. Keep walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach Piazza Indipendenza, which will be on your left, just past the impressive Palazzo dei Normanni.
Bus
From the main bus terminal at Piazza Giulio Cesare, take bus number 101 towards 'Spinasanta'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Piazza Indipendenza'. From the bus stop, you will see the square directly in front of you.
Metro & Walking
Take the Metro Line 1 from 'Stazione Centrale' towards 'Giachery'. Get off at 'Palermo Notarbartolo' station. From there, you can either take bus number 101 towards 'Spinasanta' or walk. If you choose to walk, head southeast on Via Notarbartolo, then turn right onto Via della Libertà, which leads you towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Indipendenza.
