From Parma's central train station (Stazione di Parma), take a train towards Fidenza. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Torrechiara train station. Once you arrive at Torrechiara station, exit and walk towards the main road (Via Roma).

Walking
After exiting the Torrechiara train station, turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking straight. You’ll eventually reach a junction where you need to turn right onto Strada del Castello. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Castle of Torrechiara will be visible on the hill ahead. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

Alternatively, from the Parma central train station, you can take bus line 22 towards Torrechiara. Make sure to check the latest schedule as bus frequencies may vary. Get off at the Torrechiara stop, which is closer to the castle. From there, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes to the castle entrance.
