Bus
From the city center of Parma, head to the main bus station, 'Stazione delle Corriere', located at Viale della Repubblica, 1. From there, take the bus number 21 towards 'Sala Baganza'. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Piazza Gramsci' in Sala Baganza. The Rocca di Sala Baganza (Castle) is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
Train and Bus
Begin your journey at Parma's main train station, 'Stazione di Parma'. Take a train towards 'Fidenza' or 'Salsomaggiore Terme'. Get off at 'Ponte Taro' station. Once you arrive at Ponte Taro, exit the station and catch bus number 21 heading to 'Sala Baganza'. This will take around 15 minutes. Disembark at 'Piazza Gramsci', and from there, Rocca di Sala Baganza is just a short walk away.
Walking
If you are staying close to the city center of Parma, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Sala Baganza. Start from the 'Piazza Garibaldi' in the center of Parma. Head north towards 'Via della Repubblica', then continue onto 'Via Emilia Est'. After about 4 km, you will reach Sala Baganza. Follow the signs to 'Piazza Antonio Gramsci', where you will find the Rocca di Sala Baganza. This walk will take around an hour, so wear comfortable shoes!
