From the center of Perugia, head to the main bus terminal located at Piazza Partigiani. Look for the bus line heading to Assisi, which is usually marked as 'Assisi' or 'Eremo delle Carceri'. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes, and it will drop you off at the Assisi bus station. From the bus station, you will need to walk approximately 3.5 kilometers to reach Eremo delle Carceri. Follow the signs leading towards the 'Eremo delle Carceri'. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy a scenic walk through the countryside.
Train and Bus
Start your journey at Perugia's main train station, Stazione di Perugia. Take a train headed to Assisi. Once you arrive at Assisi train station, exit and look for the local bus that connects to Eremo delle Carceri. The bus stop is right outside the train station.
