From there, follow the Via dei Priori, which will lead you to the escalators at the end of the street. Take the escalators down to the lower part of the city. Once you reach the bottom, turn left onto Via del Melo and continue straight until you reach the bus stop at Piazza della Repubblica. From there, catch the bus to Cortona. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cortona, follow the signs to the Fortress of Girifalco, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus station.
