Bus
From Perugia, head to the 'Piazza Partigiani' bus station. You can take the bus line 45 directly to Orvieto. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Orvieto bus terminal, exit the station and follow the signs towards the 'Funicular'. Take the funicular up to the town. After you exit the funicular, walk straight until you reach 'Piazza del Duomo'. The Orvieto Underground is located at 'Piazza del Duomo, 23'.
Train
Make your way to the Perugia train station, 'Stazione di Perugia'. Purchase a ticket for the train to Orvieto. The train ride takes around 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Orvieto train station, exit the station and walk towards the funicular station. Take the funicular up to the town center. Once you exit the funicular, head towards 'Piazza del Duomo'. The Orvieto Underground is at 'Piazza del Duomo, 23'.
Walking
If you are already in central Perugia and prefer walking, head to the 'Piazza Italia'. From there, walk towards 'Corso Vannucci', the main street. Continue straight until you reach 'Piazza della Repubblica'. From there, take 'Via dei Priori' and follow the signs for the bus station. From the bus station, you can take a bus to Orvieto as described above.
