Walking
If you are starting from the historic center of Perugia, head towards Piazza IV Novembre. From the piazza, take Via dei Priori which will lead you past several shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach Corso Vannucci. Turn right onto Corso Vannucci and walk until you see the large archway of Arco Etrusco on your left. Continue straight along Corso Vannucci until you reach the intersection with Corso Cavour. Turn left onto Corso Cavour, and you will find Scalinata di S.Ercolano located at number 2 on your right.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are further away, you can take one of the local buses that stop near the historic center. Look for bus lines 1, 2, or 3, which all have stops at 'Piazza Italia'. Once you get off at Piazza Italia, walk towards the main street, Corso Vannucci. From there, follow the previous walking instructions to Corso Cavour and locate Scalinata di S.Ercolano.
Walking from Perugia Railway Station
If you are arriving by train, exit the Perugia Railway Station and walk towards the escalators that lead up to the city. Once at the top, follow the signs to the historic center. You will find yourself on Viale Trento. Continue walking and turn right onto Via della Repubblica, which will lead you to Piazza IV Novembre. Follow the earlier walking instructions from there to reach Scalinata di S.Ercolano.
