Walking
If you are in the center of Pisa, start at the iconic Piazza dei Miracoli, where the Leaning Tower is located. From there, head east on Via Santa Maria towards Piazza dei Cavalieri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Garibaldi and walk straight until you reach the bus terminal at Stazione FS. From there, take a train to Lucca. The train ride is about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lucca, exit the train station and walk to the Casa della Memoria e della Pace, which is located at 55100 Lucca, Province of Lucca. It’s about a 15-minute walk. Head south on Viale Regina Margherita, then turn left onto Via San Paolino. Continue straight until the street merges into Via Fillungo, and then follow the signs to the Casa della Memoria e della Pace.

From central Pisa, make your way to the bus station located near the train station (Stazione FS). Look for buses heading to Lucca; these are typically regional buses. Board the bus and enjoy the 30-minute ride to Lucca. Once you arrive in Lucca, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, walk south on Viale Regina Margherita, then turn left onto Via San Paolino. Continue straight until the street merges into Via Fillungo, which will lead you to the Casa della Memoria e della Pace. The total walking distance from the bus stop is about 15 minutes.
