Bus
From Pisa city center, head to the 'Pisa Centrale' train station. Once there, find the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for the bus line 'L002' heading to Lucca. Purchase your ticket at the ticket machine or from the bus driver. The journey to Lucca will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Lucca's bus station, exit the bus and walk towards 'Piazza San Francesco' which is nearby. From there, you can catch a taxi or use a map app to guide you to 'Via del Castello, 442'. It's about a 10-minute drive.
Train and Walk
Start at 'Pisa Centrale' train station and take a train to 'Lucca'. Trains run frequently and the journey takes around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Lucca' train station, exit and turn right onto 'Viale Cavour'. Walk straight until you reach 'Piazza San Francesco'. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk towards 'Via del Castello'. The castle is about a 30-minute walk from the square; follow the directions towards 'Via del Castello' which will take you through some lovely streets of Lucca.
Walking
If you are in Lucca, navigate to 'Piazza San Francesco'. From there, head north on 'Via San Francesco' and continue straight until you reach 'Via del Castello'. Turn left onto 'Via del Castello' and walk straight for about 10 minutes. The 'Castello di Nozzano' will be on your left. Be sure to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!
