Start from Pisa Centrale train station. Exit the station and head south on Via Giuseppe Mazzini towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. From there, take Via Garibaldi, which will lead you directly to the Arno River. Once you reach the river, turn right and follow the riverside promenade. Continue walking along the river until you reach the Ponte di Mezzo bridge. Cross the bridge to the other side of the river and continue along the waterfront until you reach the junction with Via C. Battisti. From here, turn left onto Via C. Battisti and then take a right onto Via Roma. Follow Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Via Tofori. Turn left onto Via Tofori. The Church of Saint Mary of the Assumption will be on your right.
