Walking

From the center of Pompeii, start at the Porta Marina Superiore entrance. Head south on Via Roma towards the train station. After about 300 meters, take a left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the train station, Stazione di Pompeii. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at Praiano station. Once you exit the station, walk towards Via Praia, which is about a 15-minute walk down the hill. Follow the signs towards the beach and you will arrive at Marina di Praia.
Bus

From the center of Pompeii, walk to the nearest bus stop for the SITA bus. The bus stop is located on Via Roma, near the train station. Take the SITA bus towards Praiano. The bus ride will take roughly 40 minutes. Get off at the stop for 'Praiano', and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Via Praia. Follow the signs that lead you down to the beach area, and you will find Marina di Praia.
