Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Pompeii archaeological site entrance (Porta Marina), head east on Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the main road, Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Turn left and walk for another 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Continue straight on Via Roma, and after about 300 meters, you will see Piazza San Gaetano on your right.

  • Public Transport (Train)

    From the Pompeii Scavi train station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Napoli Centrale station. Once you arrive at Napoli Centrale, exit the station and walk towards Via Giovanni Amendola. Turn left on Via Giovanni Amendola and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Corso Umberto I. Turn right onto Corso Umberto I and continue straight for another 600 meters. You will find Piazza San Gaetano on your left.

  • Bus

    From the Pompeii archaeological site, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via Plinio. Take the SITA bus towards Naples. The bus will take about 40 minutes to reach Naples. Get off at the stop near Via Duomo. From there, walk straight along Via Duomo for about 450 meters until you reach Piazza San Gaetano, which will be on your right.
