Walking
If you are starting from the Pompeii Archaeological Park, exit the park and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, walk towards the train station, 'Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri'. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the Napoli Garibaldi station, follow the signs to transfer to the Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola. Get off at the 'Dante' station. From 'Dante', exit towards Via Toledo. Walk straight on Via Toledo until you reach Piazza San Gaetano. The Underground Naples entrance is located at Piazza San Gaetano, 69, which is a short walk from the exit.
Bus
From the center of Pompeii, you can take the SITA bus from the Pompeii bus station. Board a bus heading towards Naples. This bus will take you directly to Naples. Once you arrive at the Naples bus station, walk towards the nearest metro station, Garibaldi. Take the Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at the 'Dante' station. Exit the station, head towards Via Toledo and walk straight until you reach Piazza San Gaetano. The Underground Naples is located at Piazza San Gaetano, 69.
