Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Positano, head towards the main road (SS163) that runs along the coastline. Follow the signs for Sorrento/Naples. You will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes uphill to reach the bus stop located at the main road. Once at the bus stop, catch the SITA bus towards Naples. The bus ride will take about 1 hour and will provide beautiful views of the coastline and the hills. Once you arrive in Naples, get off at the stop near Piazza Garibaldi. From there, you will need to walk to the nearest Metro station (Garibaldi station) and take Line 2 towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the 'Municipio' stop. From the Municipio Metro station, walk straight down Via San Carlo until you reach Piazza del Plebiscito. The Royal Palace of Naples is located on the left side of the square.

    Start at the Positano ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Naples, which will offer stunning views of the coast. The ferry ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes.
