Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the famous Trevi Fountain, head northwest on Via delle Muratte towards Piazza di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Continue straight until you reach Piazza di Spagna. Once you arrive at Piazza di Spagna, you will find Fontana della Barcaccia at the base of the Spanish Steps, right in the center of the piazza.

    From the Pantheon, walk towards Piazza Navona. Exit Piazza Navona from the northwest corner, and head to Via di Santa Maria dell’Anima. Turn left on Via di Santa Maria dell’Anima, which will lead you to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Cross the road and continue straight until you reach Piazza di Spagna. The Fontana della Barcaccia is located in the center of Piazza di Spagna, below the Spanish Steps.

  • Metro

    To reach Fontana della Barcaccia via the Metro, take Line A (the red line) to the Spagna station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Piazza di Spagna.
