Walking
If you are in the heart of the Historic Centre, the Pantheon is easily reachable on foot. Start at Piazza Navona, a popular square with beautiful fountains. From there, head towards Via del Governo Vecchio, walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Scrofa. Turn left onto Via della Scrofa, then immediately take a right onto Via di Monte Citorio. Continue straight, and you will arrive at Piazza della Rotonda where the Pantheon is located. The total walk should take about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
For those preferring public transport, you can take a bus from various points in the Historic Centre. Look for Bus Line 30 or 81, which can be boarded at stops like Largo di Torre Argentina. Take the bus towards 'Termini' and get off at the stop 'Corso del Rinascimento.' From there, walk about 5 minutes down Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. This route will take approximately 20 minutes in total. Note that a single bus ticket costs €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more comfortable option, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Piazza della Rotonda' and the driver will take you directly to the Pantheon. The journey from central locations in the Historic Centre should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay between €5-€15 depending on the distance.
Use Pantheon as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
