Walking
From the main square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna, head towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and proceed until you reach the end of the street where it intersects with Via delle Fonti. From here, turn right and follow Via delle Fonti until it leads you to the outskirts of San Gimignano. Once you exit the main town area, follow the signs towards the bus station. From the bus station, take the bus to Florence. After arriving in Florence, walk towards the historical center and follow signs for Forte di Belvedere, which is located near the Palazzo Pitti.

Head to the San Gimignano bus station located near the main square. Take the bus towards Florence. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Florence bus station, exit and walk towards Piazza della Libertà. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Forte di Belvedere. If walking, head towards Via di S. Leonardo and follow the signs for Forte di Belvedere, approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station.
