From the center of San Gimignano, head towards the main square, Piazza della Cisterna. Once at the square, exit through the archway on the southern side, marked by the Torre Grossa. Continue straight down Via San Giovanni, which will lead you to the main road towards Florence. After about 5 minutes of walking, follow the signs for the bus station located at Via San Giovanni. Here, catch the bus to Florence. The journey should take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Florence, disembark at the main bus station located near the city center. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Piazza Lorenzo Ghiberti: head south on Via Santa Caterina, turn right onto Via della Scala, and continue until you reach Piazza Lorenzo Ghiberti.
