The Convento di Santa Croce is located right next to the basilica, at Piazza di Santa Croce, 16. Just walk along the edge of the piazza and you will find the entrance to the convent.

If you are coming from another part of Florence, the best way to reach Santa Croce is by using the local bus service. Take bus number 14 or 23 from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. The bus will take you to the 'Piazza della Signoria' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Piazza di Santa Croce. Head east along Via dei Neri, then turn left onto Via de' Benci, and continue straight until you reach the square. The bus ticket costs approximately €1.50 and can be purchased at ticket machines or from newsstands.
