Walking
From San Marco, head south on Via XX Settembre towards Piazza San Marco. Continue until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn left onto Via Cavour and walk straight until you reach Piazza del Duomo. From there, turn right onto Via dei Calzaiuoli, which will take you directly to the Piazza della Signoria. Once you reach Piazza della Signoria, continue straight onto Via dei Neri, and keep walking until you reach the large square of Piazza di Santa Croce, where the Basilica of Santa Croce is located on your left at Piazza di Santa Croce, 16.

Public Transportation - Bus
From San Marco, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza San Marco. Take bus number 14 or 23 towards 'Piazza della Libertà'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza dei Ciompi'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Basilica of Santa Croce. Head southeast on Via dei Ricasoli, then turn left onto Via dell'Anguillara, which will lead you directly to Piazza di Santa Croce and the Basilica.
