From the center of San Gimignano, head towards the main street, Via San Giovanni. Walk straight until you reach the archway at the end of the street. Pass through the archway and continue walking until you reach the Piazza della Cisterna. From there, take Via San Matteo and follow the road as it curves to the left. Continue until you see the signs for the bus station on your right. Take the local bus from San Gimignano to Florence, which will take you to Piazzale Montelungo.
