Walking
If you are in the historic center of Siena, head towards the large open area known as Piazza del Campo. Look for the Torre del Mangia, a tall tower that can be seen from many parts of the city. From the Duomo (Siena Cathedral), walk straight down Via di Città. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra, then turn right. Walk a few blocks until you see signs directing you to Piazza del Campo. The plaza will be directly ahead.
Public Transport
If you are coming from the Siena Train Station, take the local bus (line 3 or 8) that goes towards the city center. Get off at the stop called 'Piazza Gramsci'. From there, walk towards the historic center by taking the stairs that lead down to Via di Città. Continue straight, and soon you will see signs pointing you to Piazza del Campo. It is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a taxi, you can find taxi stands near the train station or the main squares in the city. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Piazza del Campo'. The ride from the train station should take about 10 minutes. Note that taxis will drop you off at the nearest point to the plaza, and you may have to walk a short distance to reach the actual square.
