From the central Piazza Tasso in Sorrento, head towards Via San Cesareo, which is the main shopping street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via degli Aranci. Turn left onto Via degli Aranci and follow it until you reach the train station, Circumvesuviana. Once at the train station, board a train heading towards Salerno. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Tramonti station. From the station, follow the signs for Castello di Santa Maria la Nova, which will require a short walk uphill. It is approximately 2 km from the station. You can ask locals for directions if needed.

From Piazza Tasso, walk to the Sorrento bus terminal located nearby. Look for the SITA bus that goes to Tramonti. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Tramonti stop. From there, you will need to walk about 2 km uphill to reach Castello di Santa Maria la Nova. Follow the road signs or ask locals for help if you need further directions.
