Walking
From the main beach area of Positano, walk up Via Cristoforo Colombo. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Pasitea. Turn left onto Via Pasitea and continue walking. After a few minutes, you will reach the bus stop for SITA buses. Take a bus heading to Cava de' Tirreni. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cava de' Tirreni, disembark at the main bus station. From there, walk towards Via Michele Morcaldi, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. The Biblioteca Monumento Nazionale Badia di Cava will be on your left at number 6.

From your location in Positano, head to the main bus stop located at Piazza dei Mulini. Board the SITA bus that is heading towards Salerno. Inform the driver to let you know when you reach Cava de' Tirreni. The bus ride lasts about 30-40 minutes. After disembarking at the Cava de' Tirreni bus station, exit the station and walk straight ahead towards Via Michele Morcaldi. You will find the Biblioteca Monumento Nazionale Badia di Cava at number 6, just a short 10-minute stroll from the bus station.
