Car
If you're driving, head towards the town of Tirolo, located just above Merano. From Merano, follow the road signs towards Tirolo (Tirol) and Via del Castello. The castle is situated at Via del Castello, 24, 39019 Tirolo BZ. There are parking spaces available near the castle, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Tyrol Castle using public transportation, take a train to Merano from your current location in South Tyrol. Once you arrive in Merano, you can take the bus line 211 or 213 towards Tirolo. Get off at the 'Tirolo - Paese' stop. From there, it is a short walk uphill to the castle. Follow the signs to Via del Castello, which will lead you directly to Tyrol Castle. Be sure to check local bus schedules for the latest times and fares.
Walking
If you're already in Tirolo, and feeling adventurous, you can walk to Tyrol Castle. From the center of Tirolo, head towards Via del Castello. The path is well marked and will take you through scenic views of the surrounding area. The walk may take around 20-30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be steep in places.
