From Taormina, head to the nearest bus station, which is located at Via Luigi Pirandello. Look for the buses heading towards Catania. You can catch a bus operated by AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti). The journey to Nicolosi will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Nicolosi, get off at the stop called 'Funivia dell'Etna'. The cable car station is a short walk from the bus stop.
