Start at the Taormina Bus Terminal (Stazione degli Autobus Taormina) located near the main Corso Umberto street. Head west on Corso Umberto towards Piazza IX Aprile. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via Teatro Greco. Turn left onto Via Teatro Greco and follow it until you reach the entrance of the ancient Greek Theatre (Teatro Antico di Taormina). From the theatre, continue on Via Teatro Greco which will lead you uphill. As you walk, you will enjoy beautiful views of the coastline. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Bagnoli Croce. Turn right onto Via Bagnoli Croce, which will take you closer to the Santuario. Follow this road until you reach a fork, and stay to the left to continue on Via Dina e Clarenza. You will eventually see the Santuario Parrocchia S.Maria Di Montalto on your right. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and will take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
