Walking
Start from the main square, Piazza IX Aprile, in Taormina. Head down Via Teatro Greco, passing the Ancient Theatre on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Umberto. Turn right onto Corso Umberto and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will arrive at the train station, Stazione di Taormina-Giardini. From there, take a train to Messina. The train ride takes approximately 45 minutes. After arriving at Messina, walk to the main exit of the train station, then follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take bus line 1 towards 'Viale della Libertà' and get off at the stop 'Via Dina e Clarenza'. The Santuario Parrocchia S.Maria Di Montalto will be a short walk from there, located at Via Dina e Clarenza, 16.

From Taormina, walk to the bus station located on Via Luigi Pirandello. From there, take the Intercity Bus to Messina which departs regularly throughout the day. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the central bus station in Messina. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the train station, which is very close by. From the train station, take bus line 1 towards 'Viale della Libertà' and get off at the stop 'Via Dina e Clarenza'. The Santuario Parrocchia S.Maria Di Montalto is located at Via Dina e Clarenza, 16, just a short walk from the bus stop.
