Start at the main square of Taormina, Piazza IX Aprile. From there, head towards Via Teatro Greco. Continue walking down this road until you reach the intersection with Corso Umberto. Turn left onto Corso Umberto, which is the main street lined with shops and cafes. Follow Corso Umberto until you reach the end of the street, where you will see a bus stop. From this bus stop, take a bus to Messina. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Messina, get off at the stop near Piazza Duomo.

After getting off the bus in Messina, walk towards Piazza Duomo, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. As you approach the square, you will see the Cathedral of Messina, which is easily identifiable by its stunning architecture. The Astronomical Clock is located on the bell tower of the cathedral.
