Highlight of Our Trip

We traveled with 5 family members 23-30, males and female, generally athletic. This was their favorite part of the trip. It stimulates all the senses, water termperature, beautiful scenerary, challenging jumps and conditions. We enjoyed the journey and felt like we accomplished something when finished. It is challenging physically but with our guides, I always felt safe and it was like no other excurion we've ever taken.

Great tour for hiking, eating, sightseeing and shopping.

This tour includes going into a cave and 1.5 mile tour (round trip) up to see the craters (some awesome views up there). For this portion of the tour, my opinion is that you need to be in decent/good hiking condition for this part. We were fine but there were others in our group that were struggling. The company provides hiking shoes and a hiking pole if you want it. The lunch that was provided was great (much better than I expected). It was a full meal with 2 wines in a private sitting area on the 2nd floor of the winery. The 1.5/2 hours in Taormina is great but there is so much to see and shop that you could easily spend twice as much time there. Overall great tour that provides a lot of variety (hiking, eating, sightseeing and shopping).

Awesome Etna Tour with Lucas

Lucas was a professional, friendly, funny and engaging host and tour guide for our half-day visit to Mount Etna. He speaks many different languages and transitioned seamlessly between English and Italian to cater to our bilingual group. We had a great time learning all about the geology of Etna, and this family-friendly hike was perfect for our 12 y/o daughter. Lucas is fantastic and I highly recommend this tour!
