The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Aquileia bus stop, walk southeast on Via XXIV Maggio for about 10 minutes until you reach the Archaeological area of Aquileia - Roman necropolis.

    From Trieste, go to the Trieste Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to the nearest train station to Aquileia, which is Cervignano del Friuli. The train ride usually takes about 30 minutes.
