Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Aosta city and take the SS26 road towards Pont d'Aël. Drive for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the village of Pondel. Once you enter Pondel, follow the signs for 'Pont d'Aël' which will guide you to the parking area near the aqueduct. The parking lot is only a short walk from the site itself.
Public Transportation
To reach Pont d'Aël using public transportation, take a train or bus from Aosta to the nearby town of Pont-Saint-Martin. From Pont-Saint-Martin, you can catch a local bus (line 1) that goes directly to Pondel. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pondel, follow the signs that lead to Pont d'Aël, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already in Pondel and prefer to walk, you can reach Pont d'Aël by following the marked walking trails. The aqueduct is situated about 1 kilometer from the village center, and the walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding nature along the way.
