Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Val di Susa, take the A32 motorway towards Turin. Follow the signs for Susa and continue on the SS24 road. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Cesana Torinese and follow signs for Gran Paradiso National Park. The park entrance is well-marked and you will find parking available, though a fee may be required, typically around €5-€10 for the day.

• Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

  Begin your journey by taking a train from Susa to Oulx. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. From Oulx, transfer to the local bus service (Bus number 288 or similar) heading towards Cesana Torinese. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary, especially on weekends. Once you arrive in Cesana, look for the signs indicating the direction to Gran Paradiso National Park; it is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Val di Susa. This option is more expensive, typically costing around €50-€80 depending on your exact starting point and traffic conditions. Taxis can take you directly to the entrance of Gran Paradiso National Park. Ensure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous traveler, consider biking to Gran Paradiso National Park. The route is approximately 30 kilometers from Susa and will take you through some beautiful landscapes. Ensure you have a good map or GPS device, as some trails may not be well marked. If you don’t have a bike, you can rent one in Susa for about €15-€25 per day.
