Car
If you're driving from the town of Silandro in Val Venosta, head south on the SS38 road towards Merano. After approximately 15 km, take the exit towards Marling (Marlen). Follow the signs for Marling and continue for about 3 km until you reach the village of Marling. Once in Marling, you can find parking near the start of the Marlinger Höhenweg hiking trail, which is well-marked.
Public Transportation
To reach Marlinger Höhenweg by public transportation, take a train from any location in Val Venosta to the Merano train station. From Merano, you can take the city bus line 2 or 4 that goes to Marling. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Marling, look for signs that direct you to the Marlinger Höhenweg trailhead. The trail is easily accessible from the bus stop.
Walking from Marling
If you are already in the village of Marling, the Marlinger Höhenweg trail starts close to the center. You can walk to the trailhead by heading in the direction of the cable car station (Seilbahn Marling). The trail begins just a short walk from there. It is well-signposted, and the hike offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
