Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Dorf Tirol. From the main road (SS38), follow the signs for Dorf Tirol and then take the road leading up into the village. Once in Dorf Tirol, look for signs directing you to Panoramaweg. There is no designated parking at the trailhead, but you can find nearby parking spots in the village. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around €2-€5 per day.
Public Transportation
To reach Panoramaweg using public transportation, take a train to the nearest train station, which is in Merano (Meran). From Merano, catch the bus line 213, which goes directly to Dorf Tirol. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. After arriving in Dorf Tirol, follow the signs to Panoramaweg, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for timings, as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already in the village of Dorf Tirol, you can easily walk to the Panoramaweg trailhead. From the main square (Piazza della Chiesa), head towards the hiking signs that point to Panoramaweg. The walk is about 15-20 minutes uphill, providing stunning views of the surrounding area. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail may be steep in some sections.
