Getting there

Vaporetto

From your current location in Venice, walk to the nearest Vaporetto (waterbus) stop. Depending on where you are, this could be at Piazza San Marco, Rialto, or any of the other Vaporetto stops. Once there, board the Vaporetto line 1 or 2 heading towards 'Santa Lucia' or 'Piazza Roma'. Stay on the Vaporetto until you reach the 'Padova' stop. From the Vaporetto stop, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to Palazzo Bo. Head east on Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Via VIII Febbraio, where you will find Palazzo Bo at number 2.

Train

If you are near the Santa Lucia Train Station in Venice, purchase a ticket for a train to Padua (Padova). Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 26 minutes. Once you arrive at the Padua train station, exit and follow the signs to the bus or taxi area. You can take a bus or a taxi to Palazzo Bo. If you prefer walking, it is about a 30-minute walk; head east on Via delle Palme, then take a left onto Via VIII Febbraio to reach Palazzo Bo.

Walking

If you are in the central areas of Venice, you can enjoy a scenic walk to reach the train station. Make your way towards the nearest Vaporetto stop and take the Vaporetto to Santa Lucia Train Station. Once you are at the station, follow the earlier instructions on taking the train to Padua. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, you can walk towards the train station through the charming streets of Venice, but be prepared for a longer trek.
