Board the Vaporetto at the nearest stop, and travel towards the 'Salute' stop. The journey offers a scenic view of Venice's canals. When you arrive at the Salute stop, disembark and walk towards the Basilica. It will be directly in front of you, just a short walk across the small square.

If you are staying in the Dorsoduro area or near the Accademia Gallery, you can walk to the Basilica. From the Accademia Gallery, head south towards the Grand Canal. Cross the Accademia Bridge and turn left onto the main canal walkway. Continue walking along the Grand Canal until you see the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute on your left. Follow the waterfront path leading directly to the Basilica, which is recognizable by its large dome.
