Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Ocho Rios, take the A3 highway heading west. Continue on the A3 for approximately 30 minutes, passing through the town of Falmouth. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A1 highway towards Montego Bay. After about 15 minutes, look for signs directing you to the town of Lucea. Once in Lucea, turn left onto Dean's Valley Road. Follow this road for about 10 minutes, and you will see signs for Abeokuta Paradise Nature Park on your right.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Abeokuta Paradise Nature Park using public transportation, you can take a bus or taxi from either Ocho Rios or Montego Bay. From Ocho Rios, head to the bus station and board a bus heading towards Lucea. The fare is usually around $500 JMD. Once you arrive in Lucea, take a shared taxi (route taxi) to Dean's Valley; the fare should be about $200 JMD. Ask the driver to drop you off at Abeokuta Paradise Nature Park, which is a well-known destination.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a private taxi from anywhere in the North Coast region. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost approximately $2,500 - $3,500 JMD depending on your starting location. The taxi driver will take you directly to Abeokuta Paradise Nature Park, which is located on Dean's Valley Road.
