Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Port Antonio at the main bus station. Walk towards the main street (Harbour Street) and head east. Continue walking on Harbour Street until you reach the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn left onto East Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with William Street, where you will turn right. Continue on William Street until you reach the junction with the A4 road. At this junction, turn left onto the A4 road heading towards Lacovia. Walk along the side of the A4 until you reach a bus stop. From here, you can catch a local bus or taxi towards Lacovia. Inform the driver that you are heading to Jamaica Zoo. Once you arrive in Lacovia, the zoo will be a short walk from the bus stop, located just off the main road.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the center of Port Antonio, head to the main bus station. Look for a bus that is marked for Lacovia or nearby areas. Buses to Lacovia run frequently, and the fare is generally affordable. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Lacovia, ask the driver or locals for directions to Jamaica Zoo. The zoo is not far from the bus stop, and you can either walk or take a local taxi for the last stretch.
