Getting There

  • Car

    From Aki, get on Route 2 (National Route 2) and head towards Osaka. Continue on this route for approximately 130 km. As you approach Osaka, follow the signs for 'Osaka City'. Once in the city, look for signs directing you to 'Osaka Castle'. You can park in one of the nearby parking facilities, such as the Osaka Castle Park parking lot, which charges around ¥100 per hour.

  • Train

    Begin your journey by taking the train from Aki Station to Okayama Station on the JR Sanyo Line. This journey takes about 1 hour. At Okayama Station, transfer to the JR Shinkansen (Nozomi or Hikari) bound for Shin-Osaka Station. This segment of the trip takes around 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Shin-Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and take the train to Honmachi Station. From Honmachi Station, switch to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and get off at Tanimachi 4-chome Station. The total travel cost is approximately ¥6,500.
