    If you are driving, start by heading towards Route 1 (National Route 1) if you are in central Kawasaki. Follow Route 1 towards the Tama Ward area. After about 10 minutes, take the exit towards Masugata 7 Chome. Once you exit, continue straight until you reach 7 Chome-1-1 Masugata. The Nihon Minka-en (Japan Open-Air Folk Museum) will be on your right side. Look for the parking area nearby.

    To reach Nihon Minka-en using public transportation, take the JR Nambu Line from Kawasaki Station. Board the train heading towards Tachikawa and get off at Mukaigawara Station. From there, exit the station and head south on Route 1 (National Route 1). After about a 15-minute walk, you will see the entrance to Nihon Minka-en on your left, at 7 Chome-1-1 Masugata.
