If you're driving from central Kai, head east on Route 20. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Route 409. Merge onto Route 409 and follow the signs for Kawasaki. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit toward Masugata. Once you exit, turn left onto Masugata Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you'll see the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art on your right at 7 Chome-1-5 Masugata.

To reach the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art using public transportation, start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Kai Station to Shinjuku Station. Transfer to the JR Shonan-Shinjuku Line and head towards Zushi. Get off at Kawasaki Station. From Kawasaki Station, take the bus number 92 or 93 towards Tama Ward. After approximately 15 minutes, alight at Masugata stop. The museum is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop; head north on Masugata Street, and you’ll find it at 7 Chome-1-5 Masugata.
