Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Bungoono city. Head south on Route 10 (also known as the Oita Highway) towards Asajimachi. Continue along Route 10 for approximately 7 kilometers, then take the exit for Asajimachi. After exiting, follow the signs for Asajimachi Kamiotsuka. Turn right onto Asajimachi Kamiotsuka road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Fukoji Temple will be on your left at 1225 Asajimachi Kamiotsuka.
Public Transportation
To reach Fukoji Temple using public transportation, first make your way to Bungoono Station. From the station, take a local bus that heads toward Asajimachi; confirm with the bus driver that it stops at Asajimachi Kamiotsuka. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Asajimachi Kamiotsuka bus stop, exit the bus and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Fukoji Temple will be on your right at 1225 Asajimachi Kamiotsuka.
