Car
If you're driving from central Bungo, head south on Route 210. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 57. Turn onto Route 57 and follow the signs for Ogatamachi Oharu. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Taizako Canyon, located at Ogatamachi Oharu, Bungoono, Oita 879-6861. Parking is available near the canyon.

Public Transportation
From Bungo's main train station, take the JR Nippō Main Line towards Oita. Alight at Bungoono Station, which takes about 30 minutes. From Bungoono Station, take bus number 25 (Ogatamachi Line) towards Ogatamachi Oharu. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Taizako Canyon, and you will need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the canyon entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.
