Getting There

    From Buzen city center, head south on Route 500 towards Kurume. Continue on Route 500 for approximately 15 km until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and follow it for about 5 km. Look for signs indicating Kurume Castle Ruins. Turn right onto Sasayamamachi and then left onto the castle grounds. There is parking available on-site, which is free.

  • Public Transportation

    From Buzen Station, take the Nishitetsu train towards Fukuoka. Transfer at Nishitetsu Kurume Station. From there, take the Nishitetsu bus number 3 towards Sasayamamachi. Get off at the Sasayamamachi stop (approximately 10 minutes). The Kurume Castle Ruins are a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Expect to pay around 520 yen for the train and bus combined.
